Spa Chicks On The Go had the lucky fortune of traveling to the Martha Stewart Living twice in one week. We arrived on Friday where I lead my team of massage therapists in an afternoon stress relieving massages for editors and staffers. Then, I returned the headquarters on Monday evening as an event guest for Martha's blowout Bridal Market event. Wedding industry celebs such as Sylvia Weinstock, Colin Cowie and Ceci were all in attendance...including the one and only Martha. It was so nice to have the tables turned and be an event guest! Spa Chicks and the AOL/Huffington Post OASIS

Spa Chicks On The Go had the honor to be part of the AOL/Huffington Post Oasis this past weekend at the Dream Hotel as part of the Food Network's Food and Wine Festival. This 3 day pop up event featured daily relaxing massages and yoga classes curated by Elena Brower. Guests could drop by to relax and read up to books in the wellness library, indulge in delicious smoothies and listen to incredible world music. Celebrity chefs Claire Robinson and Marcus Samuelsson were on hand for fun and exciting cooking demonstrations. Ariana Huffington also made a celebrity appearance to perform a story time hour with the children on Sunday.

Spa Chicks and Fashion's Night Out 2010!

The Spa Chicks team had a blast last night for FASHION'S NIGHT OUT 2010 in NYC! The streets of Soho were packed and alive with shoppers and fashionistas at the worlds biggest block party. We were at the Betsey Johnson store on Wooster where we doing mini eyebrow shaping with Tweezerman. Spa Chicks Obsession: Nail Fraud nail art!

I am in LOVE with the new nail art from NAIL FRAUD (http://www.nailfraud.com/) which transforms your boring old fingertips into dazzling displays of art. This is an at-home, do-it-yourself product that produces salon-like results, a look similar to Minx. Essentially they are nail films that you apply to your clean dry nails and then you file off the excess film at the tip of your nail. The results are quick and dramatic and you don't need any particular skill set to apply them. There's no glue or top coat - in minutes they are applied and you are ready to go.

I chose leopard NAIL FRAUD last Thursday night as an experiment. I applied it myself in less than 1o minutes resulting in a completely new set of hands that were ready to hit the town. I was so excited that the tip that was filed clean kept its clean line and feel - it was not jagged. They looked perfect, but how long would they last? I was guessing I wouldn't last an hour, especially that I am pretty hard on my hands and nails from cleaning and frequent hand washing from taking care of my 16 month old. But after some pretty hard wear and tear the application stayed stayed put. I finally removed them myself on Sunday because I felt a little foolish sporting leopard nails at the pediatrician's office - but my guess is that they would lasted all week. Fun for your hands but also a party for your toes!

This product is perfect for anyone who wants to make a quick, dramatic change to their look and explore their "wild side" without the commitment of hard to remove salon nail art and its high price tag. Priced at under $12.00 - its cheaper than most manicures and includes 2 applications.

It's been an incredibly busy spring and summer here at Spa Chicks On The Go. I've been a bad girl and have not updated this blog since April - but now hope to post 1-2X per week. Urban Boudoir Photography

Right now I think I am hot. This is a big deal for me, as I just had a baby boy 5 months ago and haven't been feeling very sexy at all. I don't think that sexy has a size - it's totally your state of mind. If you believe it, then you are. I've been "plus size" for years to varying degrees and for the most part have always felt good in my skin. It's just the last year with the pregnancy, the hormones, the stress...not so much.

When my friend and photographer Lily Kesselman started her new division called URBAN BOUDOIR and asked me to pose, my first reaction was "not now, not ready". Even on the day of the shoot at my friend brownstone, as my son Ryan was screaming for reasons unknown, I thought "not now, not ready". But then something happend. My friend took the baby to another floor. I put on 4 inch heels (loaned), laced up the satin ribbons to my knees (thanks Brian) and BOOM - I was sexy again. Like riding a bicycle...it all came back.

So the woman who helped me bring "sexy back" is Lily Kesselman. She's a big shot wedding photographer here in New York. Spa Chicks On The Go gives Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Character a Manicure at Madame Tussauds in Times Square!

SPA CHICKS ON THE GO had such a great time yesterday primping Hugh Jackman's wax figure in Times Square at legendary Madame Tussaud's. The photos are everywhere - from MTV to Wire Image! The SPA CHICKS were called in to primp Hugh Jackman's Wolverine figure at Madame Tussaud's in Times Square. The Spa Chicks were busy buffing and filing (with Tweezerman filles) Mr Jackmans long claws. We had such a great time! It will be on the Fox News Channel tonight - look out for us!
